Our Seventh Collection, 'Lighting Momentum'

For our seventh collection 'Lighting Momentum', we look to the world’s need for light, optimism, and progress. We move away from an erratic way of living, shifting to a grounded approach, embracing stability and consistency. We seek a departure from extremes and distractions, we aim to bring a sense of balance, harmony and confidence as we navigate an unpredictable world.

The collection introduces new additions to the colour palette, with a nod to nature with accents of deep greens, burnt orange and sky blue. Shades that are uplifting and wholesome. We continue to develop our trans-seasonal silhouettes and fabrics with a long-term vision in mind. And, with every new production run we edit and refine our pieces in the continual search for perfection.

Each season, FIELDS collaborates with local artists whose message and aesthetic resonates with us. We create limited edition pieces that are true collectors items. This season we collaborated with Johannesburg-based artist, Khotso Motsoeneng. Motsoeneng is deeply inspired by nature. His artwork sensitively accentuates the patterns and growth of rings of wood.

We wanted to convey a sense of moving through a tunnel and breaking into light. With our editorial shoot, lensed by Aart Verrips and styled by Kelly Fung, we are intentionally creating a curved, distorted sense of movement to echo this feeling - lighting momentum.
