As we embrace change and look ahead to a new season, we at FIELDS are thrilled to unveil our 11th collection aptly named Elegance. This collection is more than just a showcase of the staple menswear you’ve come to know and love; it is also a nod to the timeless wisdom of Christian Dior, whose philosophy on elegance has deeply inspired us. Dior once said, “Elegance must be the right combination of distinction, naturalness, care, and simplicity.” Hitting right at the heart of what FIELDS was founded on, these words have guided our creative journey, influencing not only the design of our garments but also our approach to how we live and create.
At FIELDS, we believe that elegance transcends aesthetic value. Rather, it is about living with intention, grace, and most importantly, care. Dior emphasised that elegance is not a matter of wealth but rather the care with which we choose, wear, and maintain our clothes. A principle that resonates deeply with our core values as we continue to innovate with new knitting and weaving techniques, explore diverse fabric weights, continuously improve silhouettes and introduce new colours.
This season, we are also excited to share a special collaboration with acclaimed South African artist Michael Taylor. Known for his evocative paintings and drawings, Michael’s work beautifully complements the ethos of our Elegance collection. His piece, Moments Away, captures the essence of changing seasons—a time of reflection, transition, and new beginnings. With its harmonious blend of blue and orange tones, the artwork symbolises the delicate balance between past and future, stillness and movement.
