Limited Edition Artist Collaboration: FIELDS x Andile Dyalvane

This soft, mid-weight, round-neck sweater is knitted in a Merino wool and kid mohair blend yarn.

The striking design was created in collaboration with Andile Dyalvane, one of South Africa's foremost ceramic artists.

Guided by a spiritual connection to his Xhosa ancestors, Dyalvane’s complex, large-scale ceramic artworks are a metaphorical vessel through which he seeks to honour his cultural traditions and share his journey of healing.

Dyalvane’s work is based on what he has seen or been exposed to as he moves through life. He includes gratitude, CAMAGU, in his work as well as being mindful of his ancestors. When sculpting, he’s mindful of the space he creates, from a scent, sound and visual point of view.

His piece for FIELDS represents a journey and state of flow.

Fibres & Origins

This piece is made from a blended yarn composed of 80% Merino wool and 20% kid Mohair.

The Merino wool is RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certified, and the kid Mohair is RMS (Responsible Mohair Standard) certified. This means that the social welfare, working conditions, and health and safety of workers are prioritised, and that the animals are ethically raised and graze on land that is progressively managed to protect soil health and biodiversity.

FIELDS is a sustainably-led menswear brand rooted in conscious design and local collaboration. Each garment is made in limited quantities using natural yarns that are kinder to the planet. Our materials are sourced, processed, and knitted/woven within Southern Africa, and every piece is locally made in partnership with skilled factory teams. This slower, considered approach supports local business and reflects our commitment to thoughtful, long-lasting design.
Wash & Care

Dry clean or hand wash in cold water with a gentle wool detergent. Lay flat to dry, hanging will cause the garment to stretch. Further details can be found on the wash care label.
Size & Fit

This sweater has a regular fit and is true to size. The model wears a size medium and is 190cm / 6ft 2" tall.
Shipping & Delivery

We ship within South Africa and internationally, directly to your door via FedEx, UPS, and trusted courier partners. Orders are prepared and dispatched from our Cape Town based distribution centre within one business day after your order is placed.

International Orders (outside South Africa)
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the product(s) in your order. All applicable local VAT, state taxes, and country-specific import duties are included in the total you pay to FIELDS at checkout and are reflected in the shipping cost. There are no additional charges on delivery. 

International delivery takes 4–8 business days.

For United States orders using UPS Economy, orders are dispatched every Tuesday, with delivery taking 10–14 business days from the Tuesday following your order date.

South Africa Orders
Enjoy free shipping on orders over R600. Orders under R600 incur a flat shipping fee of R75. Delivery within South Africa typically takes 1–4 business days.
