Dear Friends of FIELDS,

Optimism is the name of our fifteenth collection, Autumn Winter 2026. It is also a way of approaching what comes next.

After Patience, we began thinking about where patience can lead us. For us, the answer is optimism: the decision to recognise what is good, build from it and continue moving forward, even when the way ahead is not always easy.

Optimism is not about ignoring difficulty or pretending that challenges do not exist. It is about choosing not to be defined by it. Where we place our attention shapes how we live, what we create and what we carry forward. Focusing on the good gives us something meaningful to build on.

This season begins with the core of the FIELDS wardrobe: the Daily Trouser, Daily Shirt and General Jacket. The Daily Shirt continues to be a foundational piece, now in new Della Robbia Blue, North Atlantic and denim additions, while the strength and versatility of the General Jacket and Field Jacket continue to anchor the collection.

New knitwear brings texture, warmth and ease. The Knitted Tee arrives in Blue Horizon, the Daily Sweater makes its debut as a collared waffle knit, and the Relaxed Hoodie offers a softer, more informal layer. Our Artist Collaboration series also continues through a new knit, using moments of detail and creative expression without overwhelming the garment - watch this space!

Each piece has been considered for how it feels on the skin, how comfortably it moves through the day and how naturally it can accompany the different parts of life, from work and travel to stillness and connection.

Collection 15 is not a departure from what came before. It is a continuation. We remain committed to natural fibres, purposeful design and the gradual strengthening of the FIELDS wardrobe over time. The work is quiet, but deliberate.

My hope is that Optimism offers more than clothes for the season. That it serves as a small reminder to notice what is good, to move with quiet confidence and to believe in the possibility of what comes next.

With appreciation,
Mikael
