Dear Friends of FIELDS,

Patience is the name of our fourteenth collection, Spring Summer 2026, but it is also something I continue to learn (and grabble with) while building FIELDS.

Patience challenges us to enjoy the moment of what we are creating, rather than rushing toward what comes next. It asks us to sit with the process, before the search for the next dopamine hit, before comparison creeps in. Comparison to work, to life, to wealth, to style, to body. Cutting through that noise has become essential.

Building FIELDS has taught me that real craftsmanship takes time. Years to conceive, implement, refine, and most importantly, to reflect. While impatience often drives the desire to create quickly, patience is what allows the work to endure.

This season, we continue to refine what already exists, rather than constantly chasing what is new. You will see this in familiar silhouettes, thoughtfully evolved through new materials and details, including a re-imagined 1kg Sweater developed in to a 100 percent cotton, alongside new jackets, shorts, trouser materials, a play into lounge wear, extension of our enjoyment of denim and subtle colour updates.

Collection 14 also continues our Artist Collaboration series with South African artist. This time with Chris Soal, whose sculptural work explores materiality, perception and surface. His practice invites a slower way of looking, one that aligns naturally with the idea of patience.

My hope is that in learning patience, we grow rather than simply expand. That we build something considered, lasting, and true to who we are.

With appreciation,
Mikael
