With four stores now open across South Africa, each space carries its own character while staying true to our design philosophy: thoughtful, tactile, and connected to the world around it. Get to know each of our stores and the considered details that make them unique.

De Wet Square, Stellenbosch

The design of this store draws from the language of the region; cork elements nodding to the vineyards that surround the town, visible in the tables, lighting details and subtle branding touches. Turned wooden components echo the heritage and craftsmanship woven through Stellenbosch’s history. Deep green floors and java-stained wood ground the space, creating a natural, rooted palette that feels calm and familiar.

44 Stanley, Johannesburg

Set within one of Joburg’s most iconic industrial courtyards, our 44 Stanley store is a modern interpretation of the site’s history. Instead of long linear lights, the space uses intimate groupings, creating pockets of focus and warmth in contrast to the building’s raw bones.

Materials in this space tell the story: marble paired with wood, speaking to Johannesburg’s relationship with luxury, while remaining true to FIELDS’ grounded simplicity. A bold, oversized door decal sets the tone before you even step inside.

The Old Biscuit Mill, Cape Town

At The Old Biscuit Mill, retail, creativity and craft coexist in one environment. The space functions as a showroom, a store, and an atelier, giving you a literal window into the world of FIELDS. Look through the interior and you’ll see the creative studio behind it.

Inside, it carries the original black-and-white branding from our earliest days. Outside, the façade introduces a splash of colour that reflects the playful, energetic character of the neighbourhood.

Along the front sits a custom bench shaped to follow the curve of the road  (Albert / Salt Circle / Voortrekker roads) built from reclaimed railway sleepers in tribute to the tracks nearby. A detail entirely unique to this location.

V&A Waterfront, Cape Town

Our V&A store is designed as an escape. The entrance arches like the barrel of a wave, gently guiding you from the bustle of the mall into a slower, more considered FIELDS world. Inside, three distinct zones align with our three pillars: Art, Outdoor, and Soul.

Textures deepen, materials soften, and the space leans into a more luxurious, contemporary expression of the brand, yet still calm, still understated, and truly elevated

Each FIELDS store is a chapter in the same story; connected, but never carbon-copied. Designed with intention. Built with respect for place. Considered at every level
