Store Manager
FIELDS V&A Waterfront Store Manager
Your goal is to ensure the store's success by connecting with customers during their in-store experience as well as successfully managing the store team.
Customer Experience, Service & Sales
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer experience through consistent customer engagement and connection.
- Create the space and energy for customers to feel comfortable, enabling them to linger, engage with our team and products.
- Ensure our sensory (sound, temperature, scent) experience is to the FIELDS’ standards as well as the right attitude of team members.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive engagement, encourage customers to try-on products to meet our goals.
- Train and motivate the style team to effectively connect with customers, share our story, provide product knowledge and offer personalised recommendations.
- Showcase our brand through dynamic visual merchandising, including strategic movement of items ensuring freshness in store.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage in-store style team members.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, recognising achievements as well as addressing any employee concerns or conflicts.
- Provide ongoing guidance and feedback to enhance team member performance as well as ensuring consistent alignment to company standards.
- Manage the roster ensuring accuracy for the team and payroll submission.
Store Operations & Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels and replenishment to ensure optimal product availability.
- Manage the stock take process, as per schedule, analyse sales data and adjust restocking decisions accordingly to maximise sell-through.
- Maintain and improve operational procedures and policies to streamline processes and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), such as sales, AOV, time-in-store, repeat customer rate, in-store traffic, and conversion rates, to identify areas for improvement.
FIELDS Positioning & Marketing
- Collaborate with the brand and marketing department to develop and execute promotional activities, advertising campaigns, and special events at the V&A Waterfront.
- Implement strategies to enhance brand visibility, attract new customers, and cultivate customer loyalty.
- Stay updated on the industry, competitors, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
Qualification & Requirement
- Emotionally intelligent with strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead by example.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
- Experience in retail management or hospitality/relevant field is a plus.
- Knowledge of contemporary menswear, style, and fashion in general.
- Proficient computer skills for online order management and administrative tasks.
- Flexibility to work weekends, as per roster.
- Completed or in the process of completing a university/college degree
- 3+ years of working experience.

In-Store Shopping Stylist
Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and individual to join our team as an In-Store Shopping Stylist. You will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, offering style advice, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and passion for contemporary menswear will contribute to the success of FIELDS.

Qualification & Requirements:
- Completed or be in the process of completing a university/college degree or have at least 3 years of working experience. Experience in the fields of retail, hospitality, the arts, or customer service is highly advantageous.
Duties:
In-Store Style and Sales:
- Provide style advice and educate customers about our house, products, and the FIELDS journey.
- Prepare garments for sale, including steaming and adding swing tags to meet FIELDS standards.
- Process sales/exchange transactions accurately and efficiently as per our SOPs.
- Conduct end-of-day cash reconciliations, ensuring accountability for your sales and their accuracy.
- Maintain the store's readiness and cleanliness to welcome customers.
- Fold and put away items that have been tried on, and steam them if necessary.
- Ensure display areas and mannequins are well-maintained and showcase the brand according to our standards.
Store Back-office:
- Organise and maintain the stock room according to specifications.
- Conduct regular stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Work Schedule:
- You will be required to work 5 shifts per week at the V&A Waterfront Mall.
- The store operates from Monday to Sunday, between 9am and 9pm.
- Each shift will be 7-8 hours long with a 30-minute break (not included in the 7-8 hours of work).
