Description

The General Jacket has a tailored cut and is constructed in a heavyweight combed Cotton Twill. It features front angled welt pockets, a single inner breast (secret) pocket, and adjustment tabs on the sleeves and waistband to ensure a perfect fit. Its lining is 100% Cotton Jacquard. The dreamlike artwork on the lining was created in collaboration with Michael Taylor, a Cape Town based narrative artist. His work draws from nature and the human condition. We feel drawn-in by Michael's compositions and use of colour.

The artwork, entitled "Moments Away", represents changing seasons - leaving something behind to explore something new. A personal and reflective experience in which time and nature are calmly and carefully observed. The complementary blue and orange colours symbolise this agreement between shifting spaces, thoughts and intentions.

Our Cotton is processed, dyed and woven in Southern Africa, showcasing the quality our factory partners bring through their manufacturing. Regular collaboration with these partners is an integral part of the FIELDS process.

Size & Fit

This jacket has a tailored fit and is true to size. Lucas is 188cm / 6ft 2.5" tall. Chest is 95cm / 37.5".
Shipping & Delivery

We ship locally (within South Africa) and internationally to your door with Fedex, UPS and other courier partners. Once an order is placed, it is dispatched by the next working day from our Cape Town based distribution centre. 

Orders delivered internationally (outside South Africa): Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of your order. Delivery is within 4-8 working days. Your local VAT/state taxes and country-specific import duties are included in the price you pay FIELDS at check-out and are included in the 'Shipping' cost. 

Orders delivered within South Africa: The minimum order spend to qualify for free shipping is R250. Shipping costs R75 for orders under R250. Delivery is within 1-5 working days. 

Orders picked-up from our stores do not incur shipping fees.
