Limited Edition Artist Collaboration: FIELDS x The Ninevites

We've translated our collaboration with the Ninevites, into a pure cotton jacquard weave tote. The artwork has been engineered to wrap around the bag. Perfect for a trip to the shops, as a carry-all, or as a laptop bag.

The design was created in collaboration with The Ninevites, a collaborative platform founded in 2016 by Nkuli Mlangeni-Berg, which focuses on hand weaving mohair rugs in the small town of Prince Albert in the Karoo of South Africa. They believe in working with practices that are respectful to humans and the planet. Nkuli is a South African designer living in Stockholm. She is passionate about black culture, women empowerment, youth development and heritage preservation. Sharing a common material, mohair, we were drawn to how her artistry aligns with our collection's theme of stepping forward.

The Ninevites' collaborative piece for FIELDS is titled Zenzile Design.

This piece is 100% cotton.

FIELDS is a sustainably-led menswear brand rooted in conscious design and local collaboration. Each piece is made in limited quantities using natural yarns that are kinder to the planet. Our materials are sourced, processed, and knitted/woven within Southern Africa, and every piece is locally made in partnership with skilled factory teams. This slower, considered approach supports local business and reflects our commitment to thoughtful, long-lasting design.

Wash & Care

Cold machine wash with like colours and hang to dry. Do not tumble dry.

Size & Fit

Dimensions are 41cm / 16" high and 38cm / 14.5" wide.

Shipping & Delivery

We ship locally (within South Africa) and internationally to your door with Fedex, UPS and other courier partners. Once an order is placed, it is usually dispatched by the next working day from our Cape Town based distribution centre. United States orders using the UPS Economy shipping option are dispatched every Tuesday.

Orders delivered internationally (outside South Africa): Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of your order. Your local VAT/state taxes and country-specific import duties are included in the price you pay FIELDS at check-out and are included in the 'Shipping' cost. Delivery is within 4-8 working days.

If using the UPS Economy shipping option, delivery is within 10-14 working days from the Tuesday following the day you place your order.

Orders delivered within South Africa: The minimum order spend to qualify for free shipping is R250. Shipping costs R75 for orders under R250. Delivery is within 1-5 working days.

Orders picked-up from our stores do not incur shipping fees.
