We are honoured to share that FIELDS has been recognised as a winner at the inaugural Africa International Design Awards (AIDA), receiving recognition in the Prêt-à-Porter category.
To be acknowledged by a platform dedicated to celebrating design excellence across Africa and the global diaspora is deeply meaningful to us. The awards brought together more than 300 submissions from 40 countries, spanning architecture, product design, communication design and fashion.
What makes this recognition particularly special is the company it keeps. To be listed alongside such a diverse and talented group of designers, brands, studios, makers and visionaries from across the continent and beyond is both humbling and inspiring. The calibre of work represented in this year's awards is a reminder of the extraordinary creative energy shaping contemporary African design today.
Since the beginning, FIELDS has been guided by a simple belief: to create thoughtful, well-made clothing that reflects a sense of place, purpose and longevity. Recognition such as this serves as encouragement to continue pursuing that vision with care and conviction.
