For our second collection, we reached out to visual artist and graphic designer Kim Van Vuuren to collaborate with us. As one of two South African creators we have chosen to work with on our Building Connections collection, Kim’s simple yet dramatic forms evoke a sense of wonder for the viewer.

For our second collection, we reached out to Johannesburg-based artist Lebohang Kganye to collaborate with us. As one of two South African creators we have chosen to work with on our Building Connections collection, Lebo sits amongst a new and exciting generation of contemporary photographers. 

Creative Director and Graphic Designer Daniel Ting Chong is no stranger to the language of successful branding, working with the likes of Nike, Puma and The New York Times. The creative mind behind the FIELDS visual identity talks about the importance of research in his work and his clothing choices.

Photographer Jonathan Kope has been partnering with FIELDS from our brand’s inception. Here, we interview him on how he has chosen to create and define our visual identity, whilst simultaneously bringing a modern and refreshed approach to each season’s campaign imagery. He reveals to us his most important objectives when capturing fashion photography. 

Designer and Retail Expert Lei Lester was tasked with transforming FIELDS headquarters into both our creative studio as well as our first store. The challenge was not only to create a place for people to try on and purchase garments, but more importantly to come and see, touch, feel and experience the FIELDS philosophy.

For our first collection we were honoured to work with artist and gallery owner, Michael Chandler. Based in a must-visit 18th Century, Cape Georgian House in the heart of Cape Town’s bustling CBD, Chandler continues to surprise and delight his audience with his detailed and intricate work.
