For the last three years, Twyg has been facilitating an awards ceremony that celebrates an individual, brand, garment or collection for their efforts in sustainable and considered fashion, as well as their contribution to our communities and the planet. This year, FIELDS was honoured to receive the award for the category Trans-Seasonal Fashion, recognising FIELDS' efforts in ethical and considered production.

The application was meticulous and extensive with the form boasting 8 categories and over 50 sub-questions. A few of the topics that were addressed included: resources and materials, manufacturing processes, social and cultural impacts, products and design as well as packaging and distribution. This took our team a couple of weeks to complete as we broke down our design and yarn sourcing processes and gathered information from our weaving houses and manufacturers.

A large emphasis was placed on the timelessness of designs as well as commitment to preserving the quality of products after sale. Here at FIELDS, our garments are designed for the multi-faceted man (or woman). Our current collection consists of over 22 garments in an expansive range of colours. We produce timeless silhouettes and go the extra mile to ensure that they are produced in incredible quality. We continue to welcome alterations and repair services long after customers have made their purchases.

It's been a wonderful achievement for our team to have won the award this year, having our tireless efforts to produce fashion with cleaner and greener ethics, recognised and awarded. We give thanks to the facilitators, promoters and contributors and congratulate our fellow nominees and winners of 2021. We continue striving for even better and more sustainable practices in producing our craft.
