Made to be worn, with an outer constructed from cotton in a twill weave covered with a showerproof coating for projection against the rain, this understated FIELD jacket is designed to last from season to season.
Focused as much on function as form, the jacket sports four font pockets, a fifth inner secret one and a hood that can be concealed in the collar for ease of access and versatile style. The front zip is duel direction. The sleeves each have adjustment tabs as well as the left and right side of the waistband to ensure a perfect fit.
The jackets unique lining is made of combed cotton and features a collaborative design with artist Kim Van Vuuren.
In this collaboration, Kim explores the relationship between bold colour, organic forms and geometric shapes, translating this into her own design language that is sophisticated yet interactive. As a South African living in Europe she too is building connections. Her FIELDS SS20 piece captures the imagination of summer, the warmth of sand and rock contrasted with cool water, forest shade and ocean breeze, allowing the wearer, to truly explore and feel its essence.
