Description

This Harrington jacket has a tailored cut and is constructed in a heavyweight combed cotton twill. It features front angled welt pockets, a single inner secret breast pocket, and adjustment tabs on the sleeves and waistband to ensure a perfect fit. Lined in a lush Merino wool and kid mohair jacquard knit - the artwork on the lining was created by Themba Khumalo. In his artistic practice, Khumalo uses electricity poles and cranes to signify people. In this piece, the two poles bend surreally toward one another as they attempt to connect.

Fibres & Origins

The sleeve is lined in 100% cotton single jersey and the outer shell is made from 100% cotton, handcrafted in South Africa. Our cotton is sourced, processed, dyed and woven in Southern Africa, showcasing the quality our factory partners bring through their manufacturing. Regular collaboration with these partners is an integral part of the FIELDS process.

The body lining is made from a blend of Merino wool and kid mohair. The wool in the lining is RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certified, and the mohair is RMS (Responsible Mohair Standard) certified. This means that the social welfare, working conditions, and health and safety of workers are prioritised, and that the animals are ethically raised and graze on land that is progressively managed to protect soil health and biodiversity.

This jacket has a tailored fit and is true to size. The model is 185cm / 6ft 1" tall and wears a size medium. Chest is 95cm / 37.5".
Shipping & Delivery

We ship locally and internationally.

For orders delivered to an address in South Africa, the minimum order spend to qualify for free shipping is R250. Shipping costs R75 for orders under R250. Delivery is within 2-5 working days. 

For orders delivered internationally, (outside South Africa), a minimum order spend to qualify for free shipping is R3800. Shipping costs R900 for orders under R3800, with a minimum spend of R1500 per order. Delivery is within 5-10 working days. 

Your local VAT/state taxes and country-specific import duties are not included in the price you pay FIELDS at check-out. Customs and import duties will be applied to your order when the shipment reaches its destination. Such charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient and vary from country to country. 

Orders to EU countries and the USA will see reduced import duties and taxes as a result of trade agreements between South Africa and these countries. You will be charged local VAT/state tax by the courier before or at delivery, which you'll need to pay.
